In December last year, Lions Heraldic sponsored a project in Moparru, India. This sponsorship was intermediated by Jemima, the daughter of our member Dom.
Jemima is actively involved in this project and has recently sent us the message below, as well as some pictures from the project. We are very pleased that our effort really helps them.
-Dear Lions,
Happy New Year to you all! I hope you're well. Just a quick email to update you on the project. The money for the Moparru Bathroom project was received just before Christmas and they have now begun the construction. Raju (the man who runs the orphanage) has been sending me constant updates. I've attached some photos they sent me. They have started to build the new septic tank and have also started to lay the slabs in the courtyard, as well as ordered materials for the rest. Attached is also a thank you banner they got made for you, they are all extremely grateful for your generous donations!-
